Welcome,

I have been practising as a Registered Psychologist for 20 years and reside in Vancouver. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Simon Fraser University, and my Doctoral degree from Wright State University. I am registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (#1748).

In the beginning of my career, I worked in hospitals as part of multi-disciplinary teams caring for patients with severe mental illness. I later transitioned into private practice serving clients with a wide variety of concerns, such as anxiety, stress, depression, bi-polar disorder, relationship difficulties, trauma, as well as life and career transitions.

I’ve enjoyed working with individual clients and couples from diverse backgrounds, having lived and worked both in Canada and in the Middle East.

I have been described as warm, open-minded, caring, and direct. I talk with my clients to fully explore and understand their problems, then we collaboratively work to resolve their difficulties and concerns. I provide a calm, safe, and supportive environment where they no longer have to face challenges alone.

Therapy helps reduce feelings of isolation and aloneness, which often accompany personal struggle. It also helps individuals find clarity, peace, and resilience. And I appreciate if you are reading this in a moment when you are emotionally struggling, that this might seem very distant right now.

After 20 years, I continue to feel privileged working in this profession, helping my clients with their psychological concerns, understanding their unique needs, and supporting them in achieving their goals with clinical expertise and compassion.

If you would like more information on my background or how I practice, please feel free to contact me anytime. I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation.

I look forward to meeting with you.
