Career Vocational Assessment
Why have a Career Vocational Assessment?
- Are you entering the job market for the first time and looking for guidance on a career that will be interesting and fulfilling?
- Are you experiencing a degree of career dissatisfaction and looking for a change? Would you like a career that is a better fit for your interests and personality?
- Do you like most of what you do at work but wish sometimes your job could be more appealing or challenging?
Research shows that we are more likely to be satisfied and productive when working in areas that match our interests and personalities.

What does a Career Vocational Assessment involve?
It begins with an interview to discuss your personal, academic, and career history. We also explore your interests, hobbies, values, and lifestyle preferences, as well as your current ideas about your career and what you would like to achieve.
Following this initial interview, two psychometric tests examining personality and interests are administered. Depending on information gathered in the initial interview additional questionnaires may be given.
The assessment finishes with a feedback session where test results are reviewed identifying potential occupations and career fields. These findings are integrated with information gathered in the initial meeting to ensure any identified career pathway compliments other important aspects of your life. Next steps in your career exploration are discussed so that you know how to best use this information going forward, and you will receive a detailed Career Vocational Report to take home and review at your leisure.
Of course, you are welcome back anytime for additional career coaching after your assessment.
